ThyssenKrupp is investing 190 MUSD to build up a new fully owned plant - ThyssenKrupp Engine Components (China) in Nanjing Jiangning Science Park. The company will operate state of the art forging (鍛造) and machining (機(jī)加工) facilities for crankshafts and connecting rods for Mid-Range and Heavy-Duty engines meeting the requirements of EURO IV and above. What began with the laying of the foundation stone in December 2010, the Start of Production is planned for October 2012. 
蒂森克虜伯在南京江寧科學(xué)園投資1.9億美圓獨(dú)資建立一家新工廠-蒂森克虜伯發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)零部件(中國(guó))有限公司。該工廠將安裝鍛造和機(jī)加工生產(chǎn)線，主要生產(chǎn)適用于歐IV以上排放要求的中重型車用柴油發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的曲軸和連桿。廠于2010年12月奠基.于2012年10月投產(chǎn)。

A lot has been achieved in the past two and a half years. On an area of 190,000 square meters an ultra-modern production plant has been built in which we can produce up to 345,000 crankshafts a year for trucks and construction equipment as well as for ships, emergency generators and other industrial applications. A particular highlight here at the plant is the 12,500 ton press.  The project has been fully executed in accordance with our top priority, Safety, and our Compliance principles. Around 650 people will be employed on site.
